Graduated weight bands. 625 ILCS 5/15-307(b) and (c) print a flat fee per 45-mile step for a combination over 80,000 lb and not more than 120,000 lb gross, selected by the configuration — (b) is a 3-axle tractor drawing a trailer on a 3-axle tandem, which is six axles, and (c) the same tractor on a 2-axle tandem, which is five. Beyond the 225-mile step each schedule continues at a fixed amount "for each additional 45 miles or part thereof". A load the table does not reach is priced by 15-307(g) instead, at "$50 plus 3.5 cents per ton-mile in excess of legal weight", and the engine takes that row only where no band covers the load.
Rounding is not a detail here: the same rate over the same miles can differ by a whole increment depending on which pounds are rounded and in which direction, so the rule is printed with the source's own words rather than applied silently.

Illinois State Police publishes a rate. One officer costs at least an amount the schedule does not let us compute before mileage.
Additional permit-office processing: $80 per State Police district crossed, or $160 for Chicago, under 92 Ill. Adm. Code 554.911(a). The district itinerary is required; this is separate from hourly ISP vehicle billing.
IDOT escorts are charged separately at $40.00 per hour per vehicle with an $80.00 minimum per vehicle. Whether IDOT accompanies a given move is decided when the permit is written.
Time is counted from pickup to completion including delays, with any fraction of an hour rounded up, so the charged hours are not the moving hours.
Holiday, curfew and night-travel windows are not yet encoded for Illinois. The seasonal picture — which is a different question — is in section 6 above.
Why those windows are absent rather than estimated
They are not guessed at here. What we do publish is the seasonal weight-restriction picture, with the date we last read each state's own bulletin — a curfew invented from a plausible pattern is worth less than an honest gap, because a reader cannot tell the two apart on the page.
